EPIC Capture the Flag Competition

The Game

The Spring 2010 CTF season is over :-(

Come back in the fall for good times all around! Feel free to check out the Facebook Album while you wait!

A long standing semesterly tradition - Phi Kap's big game of Capture the Flag is back!

The game takes place a short drive off campus on an over 80 acre woodland bordered by fields and stream. The terrain is rugged and varied, with a few well kept pathways - perfect for the action. Canvas maps will be provided and we'll be coordinating with K2CC so that each team has radio operators to aid with strategy.

Traditionally, the rules have been set so that the teams are split into East and West, with a single long trail of no man's land, running in between. Any poor soul spotted and captured while wandering through enemy territory will be escorted to the enemy's prison camp to sing the blues while praying for rescue. A flag is hidden on each side. Victory goes to the team who manages to find it and bring it to their side. Typically games are set for a few hours, with a time limit before free for all begins.
